Quality Assurance

Management and staff perform regular self-assessment audits in all aspects of our care against the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the 2014 Regulations, which have been developed by the Care Quality Commission, and our policies.


The audits we undertake include Medication, Infection Control, Health and Safety, Accidents and Incidents, Staff Training and Supervisions, Tissue Viability, Care Plans, Nutrition, Kitchen and a head office audit which encompasses the whole home. These audits along, with any incidents, compliments or complaints, are reviewed monthly at our management meetings between the Directors and the management in the home. 

We also communicate with residents, family members and the staff team at all levels to make sure the home is being run in the best possible manner. This is done through the head office audit, monthly newsletters, family forums, resident forums, staff meetings and 6 monthly questionnaires.
