Beverley Parklands panto took place on Sunday evening.
We are delighted to announce that we were awarded with the highest possible rating of Outstanding by CQC after our recent inspection, which only the top 1% of care homes nationally receive! This was the Homes first inspection after opening in September 2017. Also the Home was a finalist for the Best New Build Care Home in the UK, 2018, at this year’s prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards.
The facilities at Beverley Parklands, which provides residential and dementia care in separate units, include two ‘street scenes’ with an in-house bar, shop, cinema, tea room and hair & beauty spa, as well as numerous fake shop fronts. These allow a wide range of activities and destinations for visiting families. The home is situated on a 1.4 acre site allowing for two large formal gardens, with an artificial bowls green, to the rear of the property. Plus outside access with terraces on all floors, including a covered roof garden on the second floor.
All the 78 bedrooms are large with full ensuites, with the ground floor bedrooms having private patios. There are also a range of premium suites designed for couples.

The level of care is extremely good and almost instant. The staff do not mind whatever we ask of them and all seem to find pleasure in "caring".
Mavis (Resident on 24th October 2017)
I am satisfied with everything - the food is good and the staff are nice.
Freida (Resident on 24th October 2017)
The level of care for the residents is of the highest calibre. Staff in all departments are friendly and helpful. The care is efficient and in the interest of the residents. Speaking for myself, I find the staff cheerful and very helpful. Beverley Parklands is second to none. Thank you from a very highly satisfied resident.
Arthur (Resident on 24th October 2017)
The staff are nice. The home is nice - in fact excellent. Everything is nice - everyone can't do enough for me. The home in the future will flourish.
Doreen (Resident on 25th October 2017)
Parklands are very efficient and knowledgeable while at the same time being friendly and welcoming. The home is very well laid out and the facilities many, various and impressive. My brother in law was initially very opposed to the idea of a care home but Parklands has converted him.
JS (Resident's Sister in Law on 27th October 2017)
Thank you for everything that you have done for my Father. You have exceptional staff there and I did not meet one member of staff that was anything short of wonderful. They also show remarkable patience and are kind and compassionate. They do a difficult job in some respects, but they never let that show.
Sally (Resident's Daughter on 16th December 2017)
I hope you've had a nice Christmas and New Year. Christmas at Parklands for the residents was lovely. The environment and the care of the staff couldn't have been better. We are so happy that Dad is now living in a calm, caring place.
Resident's Daughter (on 9th January 2018)
There was much I found impressive about Parklands, including the outdoor spaces and gardening plans, the later big meals based on research, and the therapeutic bunnies. These indicate a progressive approach which I appreciate.
Resident's Son (on 18th January 2018)
After an emotional and difficult week, I finally on Saturday evening felt really happy about everything. Mum's room looks so much better now and for someone with early stages of mixed dementia, she has accepted this move very well. I think somewhere hidden there is a compliment for Beverley Parklands and it’s wonderful staff
Resident's Son (on 13th February 2018)
We both feel that everything you have to offer at Beverley Parklands is inspirational. Obviously the physical environment is lovely, but what shines out is the dedication, kindness and cheerfulness of all of your staff. Both Dad and Mum, have sung your praises and repeatedly commented on the loveliness and kindness of everyone that has been involved in taking care of them.
Libby W (Resident's Daughter on 2nd March 2018)
The service my father receives at this care home is excellent. He has been in a few other for respite care and I am now glad that my father has finally received the excellent care he deserves here. The staff are wonderful and have helped my father settle in a treat. This care home is definitely a home from home experience and the atmosphere is very relaxed which is what dementia sufferer's need. Most importantly my father is happy here and that's all the matters.
Tracy (Resident's Daughter on 19th February 2018)
Thank you with all your help on all matters, please may I say how impressed I am with everything in relation to Mum's care and she seems to have settled in really well which is a weight off my shoulders
Fiona (Resident's Daughter on 3rd March 2018)
I could not recommend Beverly Parklands enough. The rooms are 5*, the are staff are all lovely and very kind and caring. My parents stayed for three months, it was a pleasure to visit them there.
Catherine G (Daughter of Resident on 13th March 2018)
I am writing to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for the standard of care provided for my father by the staff of Parklands in general and The Haven in particular. As a family, we are very much aware that my father's needs are complex and multiple. We are also acutely aware that, when in a heightened state of anxiety, some of his behaviours can be highly challenging, time consuming and difficult to de-escalate. As a family, in our experience staff never appear daunted by this, are consistently calm and professional in their interactions with him and carry out their duties with a high degree of dedication, diligence, cheerfulness and above all care! Quite often it can be the small things that make a make a difference and I believe Parklands staff often 'go the extra mile' and do over and above that which may be in their job description to try and help meet our father's needs. We notice and appreciate this greatly.
Jon H (Son of Resident on 12th July 2018)
I am over the moon with how much better my aunt is and I cannot thank you enough, she has made massive improvements and is now able to get out of bed. It is because of the care she is receiving, I cannot thank you enough.
Beverley (Niece of Resident on 20th July 2018)
Our family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff on the Haven for the exceptional care they gave our Dad. To the end you all went above and beyond at all times. We would like to give the donations from his funeral service to the Parklands Mini Bus Fund. Thanks to you most especially Sheena, you made all the difference last Sunday in making sure his final days were comfortable. With very best wishes
Family of Resident (19th July 2018)
Our family would like to give a big shout out to Michelle from Haven. She went over and above in her care of our Dad. She spent time with him on her day off and was with him at the end which gave our family comfort that someone who had known him since his first day at Parklands was with him to the end. Thank you once again
Jane & Alison (Daughters of Resident on 19th July 2018)
Lorna and Jess are absolutely fantastic, they followed my routine.. You've got some beautiful people here, the standard of care you give is amazing. The food is great and the home runs like clock work. I have really enjoyed my time here and met some lovely residents. I really have loved it here. I am happiest in the garden with the rabbits.
