About Lindsey Hall
Lindsey Hall is an award winning care home in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, which provides residential and dementia care, in separate areas.
The Home was awarded an Outstanding rating by CQC. We are the first care home in North East Lincolnshire to achieve this accolade, with only 3% of care homes in the country being awarded the rating. The Home also won the prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Award for the Best New Build Care Home 2017 in the UK.
Lindsey Hall is now open for visitors and trips out, as per the government guidance.
The care home is located a short walk away from the local shops and Cleethorpes sea front. The original school building has been completely retained, and has created fantastic lounges and dining rooms as well as our internal street scene. The street scene, which has become the heart of the home, includes an internal bowls green, bandstand and 7 shop fronts for reminiscence. These include a general store, music store, antiques shop, beach hut, florists and guest house. The arcade area will have working facilities including an old fashioned pub, cinema, post office, hair and beauty salon, café and shop. The street scene and arcade are fantastic for reminiscence and giving residents the feeling of going out into the community but without leaving the safety of the home. The Home also has 4 private sensory gardens with allotments, themed areas and an outdoor artificial bowls green. All bedrooms have en-suites, are on the ground floor and range from 20-25sqm. A lot of the bedrooms in the residential unit have their own doors out to patio areas.
Lindsey Hall are working with the NHS in trialling a new Electronic Palliative Care Co-ordination System (EPaCCS). This will enable the recording and sharing of a residents care preferences, making certain everyone involved in their care are doing so with the most up to date information. Consent will be sought before residents take part in the trial and they can withdraw at any time.
