Our Resident Community litter pickers

Residents from our Horsforth Manor Care Home in Leeds, have been out and about this week picking up litter in and around their local community.

Litter picking has now been added to the residents weekly activity planners, with lots of them expressing their wishes to help in and around the local area.

Ann a resident at the care home added, “it has been great to be out and about today, doing good for our local area and the planet. We didn’t manage to cover much of the area as I am not a mobile as I used to be, however if we do this regularly, every little be we do, will make a huge impact”.

Firefighters visit Sleaford Manor

Sleaford Manor Care Home enjoyed a visit from the wonderful local firefights from Sleaford Fire Station last week.
