Christmas 2018

Christmas was enjoyed by all at Lindsey Hall especially when we had an afternoon with the Bell Ringers. Residents and their families came along to watch, as you can see by the photos, we had a good turnout for this and everyone got into the festive spirit!

On Christmas Eve we invited all family and friends to join us for an afternoon of Christmas singalongs. We drank homemade Egg Nog, Christmas Punch finished off with homemade scones with jam & cream.  The Egg Nog went down a treat and will definitely be on the menu for next year! The activity team were there to serve up the refreshments and to get everyone joining in with the Christmas songs. It was a lovely afternoon enjoyed by everyone.

On Christmas day after a morning of opening presents and visits from families, our residents enjoyed a full Christmas Dinner with wine. After dinner residents then came into our street scene and enjoyed a glass of sherry and snowballs while they were entertained by local singer Rob Wells, who very kindly gave his afternoon to our residents free of charge.

We had a nice singalong to Christmas songs and then spiced things up with a bit of dancing and rock and roll. Thanks again to Rob, who really made sure that Christmas Day ended on a high!
