Over the past couple of months here at Westfield Park there have been alsorts of outings such as
Goole waterways museum
Goole waterways was our destination for our August outing We had a wonderful time at the water ways which included a boat trip and refreshments. Residents enjoyed a trip along the canal on the boat to take in the landmarks of Goole from the water. We then had a walk around the museum to look at the history of the famous Tom puddings. Our gents on the trip really enjoyed it and also had a go at knot tying.
Boston Park Farm
Boston Park Farm near Doncaster was the destination for our September outing. We went after lunch and had time at leisure to look around the farm as well as feeding all the different animals they had there. We ended the day with a trip to the onsite café where residents enjoyed tea/coffee and cakes.
York chocolate story
York Chocolate Factory was the destination for our October Outing. This was a full day trip out which included a pub lunch in the beautiful city of York. Everyone enjoyed the tour at the chocolate factory and seeing how the different chocolates were made and tasted. At the end of the tour we were able to make our own chocolate lollipops which were delicious, we got to take this home and enjoy them later -Yum!
