Yorkare Homes continues expansion with two new homes

Louth Manor Care Home in Louth and Rawcliffe Manor in York officially opened their doors in March with Yorkare now having a portfolio of eight care homes.

Both homes were built by local partner Hobson & Porter with each creating more than 90 jobs.

Louth Care Home and Rawcliffe Manor will provide residential, dementia and respite care for long and short stays for 69 and 67 residents, respectively.

The two facilities are the first in a raft of planned new launches by Yorkare over the next year.

The first of these, Cottingham Manor, is scheduled to open in June with four more (Haxby Hall in York, New Waltham Care Home in Lincolnshire, Sleaford Manor in Sleaford and Horsforth Hall in Leeds) to follow next year.

Operations Director Jonathan Garton told CHP: “After successful open weekends we are delighted to welcome our new residents to Rawcliffe Manor and Louth Manor. The developments are superb, with fantastic facilities for our residents, families and the local community to enjoy.

“The company growth continues with Cottingham Manor opening in June and further developments in Leeds, York, Sleaford and North East Lincolnshire to open in 2023.”
