Our beautifully designed care home is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our residents. From private, cozy rooms to spacious communal areas, every corner of our home is crafted to promote comfort and well-being. Large windows flood the spaces with natural light, while our landscaped gardens provide a tranquil retreat for residents to enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty.
Marton Gate Manor includes two in-house bars with a Barista Station, restaurant-standard dining rooms, a full beauty and hairdressing salon, a cinema, a bowls green, a greenhouse with raised gardening areas, and outdoor terraced balconies overlooking the surrounding area.
All the bedrooms are designed to be spacious and come fully furnished, complete with an en-suite wet room. Each room is adorned with highly finished décor and interiors, and the ground-floor bedrooms include doors out to private patio areas.
Our Dementia Care Living is situated on a dedicated floor and is designed to create a home-from-home providing a sense of familiarity that helps support and ease our residents to settle into their new surroundings.
We are currently recruiting for Day Care Assistants
(CV selections will commence W/C 21st April with interviews beginning to be scheduled starting the following week and ongoing until opening)
£12.60 per hour regardless of age (12.70 per hour with a valid NVQ in Heath and Social Care)
Shift pattern 7am -7pm Some weekend working required.

The role of a Care Assistant is to ensure the needs of the residents are met in a person-centred way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.
It is essential that all our staff are:
- Flexible, caring and compassionate.
- Positive, self-motivated and organised.
- Willing to undertake any training necessary to develop skills and competency relevant to the role.
- Sensitive to the needs of others.
- An active team player and must be able to work on own initiative.
- Possess good communication skills with colleagues and residents.
Overview of Job Description:
- To provide personal care and support to residents with a wide range of health care needs, illnesses and disabilities, all of which are available in their care plan for staff to follow
- Serve and assist with drinks and snacks if required through the day.
- Make and change beds; tidy rooms along with some light cleaning to ensure resident comfort and maintain the appearance of their home.
- To maintain accurate documentation with regards to the care and support given to our residents.
- To act as an advocate to the residents and communicate their needs and wishes when required to senior members of staff
