CQC rate Westfield Park as “good”

The Care Quality Commission, which sets the standards for care homes up and down the country, rated the services at Westfield Park Nursing Home as good, just one rank down from the top rating of outstanding, following a visit in November.

The areas assessed where the safety, effectiveness, how caring the staff are, responsiveness of the service and how well-led the home is.

Ratings were given based on observations of the home and conversations with staff, residents and their relatives.

Comments within the report included the care within the home being viewed as “Rolls Royce” compared to other services in which their relative had been as well as another person stating that the care given is “second to none”.

You can download the report on the Westfield Park page of this website. If you would like to discuss any aspects of the report, please speak to the managers.
