Dreams really do come true for 82 year old Ernie

As part of the 2024 Yorkare Homes company-wide initiative ‘Inspire 24’ they are helping to support residents to achieve things they didn’t think were possible. Dream it, Wish it, Do it.

Cottingham Manor resident Ernie is married to Anne and has 6 children. Ernie’s Inspire 24’ wish was to go out for the afternoon on a horse and cart.

So we made his dream come true! James Soanes – a local business man kindly offered to fulfil Ernie’s Wish.

This was even more special as Ernie’s wife Anne and Son Nigel got to see Ernie’s wish come true. It was a day to remember making lovely memories together.

A big Thankyou to James Soanes
