Event’s at Westfield

Recently we have had a couple of performances from different acts for our resident's to enjoy, and enjoy they did!

Saltmarsh Duo

We were able to enjoy a performance from a local company called The Saltmarshe Duo. This male and female duo sang songs from all eras with some opera too! The lady played the organ while the gent sang. The residents enjoyed singing and dancing with them and they spent time chatting to all the residents after the performance.

Big Birthday Bash

Resident Ken J celebrated his 80th birthday with a visit from a production team that put on a show for us. The show was called “Give my regards to Broadway” which involved a young lady singing all different songs from shows with lots of costume changes in between. We had a big birthday cake for Ken and the birthday boy even got to wear one of the singer’s hats.

The afternoon was enjoyed by everyone, finishing it off wiht tea and cake. We enjoyed the performance so much we have requested to have the lady back.
