On Saturday 1st September, everyone at Magdalen Park came together to celebrate Magdalen Park’s 4th Birthday.
Residents, staff, family and friends enjoyed toasting another successful year at Magdalen Park and wishing us all a Happy Birthday. We enjoyed Bucks Fizz, or fizzy orange, to toast the home and candles were blown out on the big birthday cake.
As well as celebrating Magdalen Park's birthday, we held our Summer Fair. There was plenty to do including a raffle and tombola, and the jam and cream scones where very popular on the cake stall.
The theme of the day was 'Wild West' so staff and residents dressed up as cowboys and Indians and we had Wild West inspired games, with a cactus hoopla and 'catch the horse'. We also had Steph our activity coordinator, Nicole our manager, Laura our residential lead and Dave our volunteer in the stocks at the end of the fair!
Thank you to everyone who supported us at the fair and to all our helpers we raised £356 for the resident's fund!
