The care home, located off Heads Lane near Hessle Mount School, is rated as Good by CQC overall but with an Outstanding rating for Well Led. Tranby Park won the ‘Best New Care Home in the UK’ category at the prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards for 2020 after it opened in September 2019.

The luxury 64 bedroomed care home in Hessle includes facilities such as two in-house bars, restaurant standard dining rooms, a full beauty salon, and hairdressing room, a cinema, a convenience store, two outdoor terraces, an activity lounge, a rummage shop, and a music store shop front for reminiscence. Externally the home enjoys large, beautiful gardens, with a bowling green, allotments, and private seating areas for family, friends, and residents to enjoy.

Residential care is provided on our ground and first floor and dementia care is provided in our specialist Haven on the 2nd floor. The Haven is a ‘Home within a Home’ with its own lounge and restaurant dining room and has a dedicated care team providing the highest level of dementia care. The ground-floor bedrooms include doors out to private patio areas. All the bedrooms are designed to be spacious and come fully furnished with en-suite and all will include highly finished décor and interiors. There are also 3 premium suites across the Home that provide comfortable lounge areas and a bedroom that has been specially designed for couples, loved ones, friends, or individuals.

Yorkare Homes is one of the highest CQC rated care providers nationally and that same level of care will be provided at Tranby Park.

The Tranby Park management team aim for their residents is to enjoy the next chapter of their lives in a safe and luxurious environment, whilst being able to offer a varied and engaging range of social activities. This is achieved by our dedicated care teams, activity co-ordinators and our highly trained chefs.

The Yorkare Homes Group offer luxurious facilities at each of their Care Homes, whether it’s to share a meal or drink in the bar, sing-a-long with the planned live entertainment and musicians, enjoy a pamper session at their hairdressing and beauty salon, watch a film together in the cinema, or simply relax in their beautiful surroundings and gardens.

Tranby Park are currently working with the NHS in trialling a new Electronic Palliative Care Co-ordination System (EPaCCS).  This will enable the recording and sharing of a residents care preferences, making certain everyone involved in their care are doing so with the most up to date information. Consent will be sought before residents take part in the trial and they can withdraw at any time.

My sister was welcomed into Tranby Park when it was just opened and has felt at home there since that moment. She suffers from MS and is no longer able to live at home, and she has improved with the care she receives there. Even though there is no cure for MS and it is progressive, she is much happier.
With the continuing pandemic, the people there have been marvellous in taking exceptional care of the residents, making sure they feel safe, and particularly that they are not alone.
