Knitting fit for a King

Gwen the very talented resident knitter from our Lindsey Hall Care Home in Cleethorpes was set a challenge by the activities team following their most recent ‘knit and natter Club’ which is held weekly at the Care Home, the challenge set was to create a masterpiece fit for a King.

Gwen accepted and set to work, which has taken her in total around 4 weeks to complete.

Gwen added “this has been a real labour of love, my wreath features King Charles, the golden coach, celebration bunting, the Crown, along with a daffodil, thistle, rose and shamrock, I have really enjoyed every second of making this, I am really pleased with how it has turned out”

The beautiful wreath will now take centre stage within the Care Home, as they prepare for a fantastic few days of celebrations at the end of May for the Kings Coronation.
