Many of our wonderful residents have lived in and around Horsforth for many years, so it was only natural that when selecting our charity to support in February, we wanted to give back to a local cause. With nearly one in three women experiencing domestic abuse, we chose to support Horsforth Women’s Refuge, helping women and children in urgent need.
Often, those arriving at the refuge do so in a moment of crisis, with little time to gather essentials or home comforts. Our aim was to make a meaningful difference by providing everything they might need.
Thanks to the generosity and support of our incredible team, residents, and families, we were able to assemble over 550 essential items in just two weeks for donation. Our residents Margaret, Faye, and Marian personally delivered these much-needed items to the refuge.
We are incredibly proud to see our community come together to support those in need. We truly believe that together, we can make a real difference.
