Making wishes come true for our 92 year old resident Brenda, with local Charity shop

Brenda our 92 years young has a keen eye for fashion, as part of this years company wide initiative ‘Inspire 24’ Dream it, Wish it, Do it, Brenda had expressed an interest in being able to work in a shop or boutique for the day, so we set about trying to make her wish a reality. The Local Sense Charity Shop in Cottingham kindly allowed Brenda to volunteer at the shop for the day, serving customers.

Brenda enjoyed chatting with the local community, helping them pick out some wonderful items, and serving at the tills.

A huge Thank you to Emma from Sense for supporting Brenda’s wish!
