March at Westfield

It's been a busy month over at Westfield and we still have the Easter weekend to look forward too! We have been enjoying plenty of fantastic activities and entertainment over the last few weeks, these included a beer tasting session in our Westfield Arms bar to celebrate St Patricks Day. Resident's got into the Irish spirit, donning novelty hats and sipping on guiness. They were joined by staff members for some music and a good old Irish jig.

We have also been lucky enough to have a trip out to our fellow home in Cleethorpes to take part in the interhomes games. During this event all our Yorkare homes came together and competed in several fun games including a dominos match, bean bag throwing and soft bowls followed up with a certificate presentation at the end. A fantastic day was had by all involved and we ended our day with a lovely scenic drive down the sea front. All pictures can be found on Magdalen's news page.

We have had many fun activities throughout our home and have been joined by outside entertainers. Ami from bluebird entertainment provided a fantastic Friday evening show for us and we all had fun singing and dancing along to some well known classics.

Keep an eye out for updates on our egg-citing Easter weekend as we continue with a fun filled 2018
