Memory Walks for Alzheimer’s Society

Residents and staff at Westfield Park, from both the Haven and Nursing units, took part in a sponsored walk in the gardens of Westfield Park in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society on Saturday 19th September. Organised walks were held across the country during September and October to raise funds for the Society.  We rounded our walks off with some music and dance in the sunshine!

225,000 people develop dementia every year, which is one person every 3 minutes.  The Memory Walks help the Alzheimer’s Society support people living with dementia in the community as well as funding vital research.

Residents and staff would like to thank everyone who sponsored them and help raise a great £150 for the Alzheimer's Society!
