Message from the Manager

Dear Families and Friends of Westfield Park,

Well summer is coming to an end and the autumnal weather is upon us!  Time to dig out the winter clothes.

We’ve had a great summer at Westfield Park, harvesting some great produce from our allotment, beans, beetroot and carrots. We have also enjoyed a number of great trips out thanks to our activity coordinators and I am looking forward to joining the residents when we go to the Circus this afternoon.

We can’t forget the amazing sum of £725 raised at our summer fayre In August….let’s see if we can match that at our Christmas fayre’s in December.  We have set dates for the fayre’s, the Nursing Home Christmas Fayre is on 12th December, the Haven’s is 19th December.  All donations for our raffles and tombola’s will be gratefully received.

I am pleased to announce we have now opened our top floor unit in the Nursing Home for Dementia Care and the residents have settled in very well.

Please accept, on behalf of Westfield and all the staff, our sincere thanks for your support so far this year and the very generous donations to our Resident’s Fund, which enables our resident’s to enjoy trips out, such as outings to the seaside and garden centres, and entertainment coming into the home.

Myself, the staff and the residents hope to see you all very soon,

Kind Regards and Best Wishes to you all,

Sue Baker
