Yorkare Homes has obtained planning permission for two care homes in Hedon, East Yorkshire. These are a 54 bedroom nursing home and a 30 bedroom dementia home, both with 5 assisted living apartments specially designed for couples or siblings with their own kitchenettes and living areas. The gardens will be landscaped including a bowling green and clubhouse. Both homes will have a sensory 'street scene' including a shop, hair and beauty salon and a pub. Other facilities include a rehabilitation gym, a library, sensory gardens and allotments. The development is due to start in Spring 2013, we will update you with more information closer to the time.
