Residents throw staff a Christmas Party

The residents and staff have recently enjoyed a Christmas party which the residents put together, with a little help, to say thank you to all the staff for their hard work.

Steph Ashton, activity coordinator, said “during a recent residents' meeting it was discussed how the residents wanted to do something a little different to thank all the staff for their hard work. The party was a great success with food and drink for everyone to enjoy and the afternoon was filled with laughter, song and dance".

During the afternoon resident Arthur gave a speech thanking everyone for their hard work. This was followed by Elsie reading a poem about friendship. Senior Carer Rachael Boothby said "I’m touched with what they have done for us. It’s a lovely gesture".
