Thrive 25 in Action! Sensory Experience

As part of our THRIVE 25 company-wide initiative, our Tranby Park Care Home arranged a heart-warming visit to a sensory room for Pat from the Haven Unit, creating a truly special experience.

Pat, who has advanced dementia and is non-verbal, was wide awake and fully engaged, taking in the bright colours, calming sounds, and soothing textures around her.

With support from our amazing staff, she explored the space alongside fellow residents, creating a moment of connection and joy. To round off the outing, they all enjoyed a warm cuppa and a slice of cake at a nearby café.

It’s little moments like these that make a big difference.
