When you wish upon a star – bringing the magic of Disney to Magdalen Park Care Home

If you can’t go to Disney Land we will bring the Magic of Walt Disney to our Magdalen Park Care Home

“Magical Dreams Unveiled: A Disney Wonderland Comes to Life”

Our “INSPIRE 24” initiative, helping make our residents and employees’ wishes come true! Dream It, Wish It, Do It.

A special wish was voiced by our wonderful resident Betty, a wise lady who believed in the enchantment of childhood dreams.

Betty’s wished “To visit the wondrous realm of Walt Disney and to meet with the one and only Mickey Mouse himself.

Betty’s wish ignited a spark in the caring hearts of the Management and Care Teams at the Home and together hatched a plan to help bring the magic of Disney to Betty.

In the heart of our Magdalen Park Care Home in Hedon Hull this weekend, a special wish was granted by the ‘Magdalen Fairy God Mothers

As the day unfolded, the corridors and communal lounge were transformed into a kaleidoscope of Disney wonders, with everyone embodying beloved characters, from Ariel’s Sebastien to the mischievous Jack Sparrow.

Laughter echoed through the air as Mickey, Snow White, Sulley, and a host of other characters paraded through the care home, creating an atmosphere of pure joy for Betty and the residents.

Families joined in the enchantment, their children donned Disney attire, turning the home into a living fairy tale.

For Betty, the pinnacle of her day was her long-awaited date with Mickey Mouse (the man of her dreams).

In that magical moment, the essence of happiness and cherished dreams converged, creating unforgettable memories for Betty.
