About Beverley Parklands

Beverley Parklands Care Home is an award-winning Care Home in Beverley and part of the Yorkare Home group providing outstanding residential, dementia, and respite care.

Beverley Parklands Care Home in Beverley is rated Outstanding by CQC, which only the top 3% of care homes nationally receive, and was a finalist for the Best New Build Care Home in the UK, 2018, at the prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards. The Home had a full refurbishment program in 2023 – new pictures and video to come soon.

Our homes are described by our residents as “a cruise ship that doesn’t move”

The luxury care home includes facilities such as two ‘street scenes’ with an in-house bar, shop, bistro, tearoom, and hair & beauty spa, as well as numerous reminiscence shop fronts. These allow a wide range of activities and destinations for visiting families and residents to enjoy.

The home offers large, beautiful gardens, with a bowling green, allotments, and private seating areas for family, friends, and residents to enjoy, with outside access to terraces on all floors, including a covered roof garden on the second floor with beautiful views.

Residential care is provided on our ground and 4th floor and dementia care is provided in our specialist Havens on the 1st and 2nd floors. The Haven is a ‘Home within a Home’ with its own lounge, activity rooms and restaurant dining rooms and has a dedicated care team providing the highest level of dementia care. The ground-floor bedrooms include doors out to private patio areas. All the bedrooms are designed to be spacious and come fully furnished with en-suite and all will include highly finished décor and interiors. There are also 5 premium suites across the Home that provide comfortable lounge areas and a bedroom that has been specially designed for couples, loved ones, friends, or individuals.

Yorkare Homes is one of the highest CQC rated care providers nationally and that same level of care will be provided at Beverley Parklands.

Yorkare Homes aim for their residents is to enjoy the next chapter of their lives in a safe and luxurious environment, whilst being able to offer a varied and engaging range of social activities. This is achieved by our dedicated care teams, activity co-ordinators and our highly trained chefs.

The Yorkare Home group provide luxurious facilities at each of their homes, whether it’s to share a meal or drink in the bar, sing-a-long with the planned live entertainment and musicians, enjoy a pamper session at their hairdressing and beauty salon, watch a film together in the cinema, or simply relax in their beautiful surroundings and gardens.

Testimonials

Due to ill health and dementia, my parents suddenly found themselves in residential care so they could continue being together. They are well looked after in comfortable surroundings and by staff who care deeply for them and cannot do enough to help them. They never planned or anticipated being in such a situation and have found it extremely difficult to adjust to their 'new life' but have found support and encouragement at every corner. The accommodation and facilities are first class.
Paul S (Son of Resident) – 4th June 2021
Both my parents needed dementia care within 4 months of each other and for nearly a year they were able to be together in this wonderful, caring environment. They were able to spend most of their time and eat meals together. They were loved and cared for and most importantly, were content to be in what they thought was an hotel, where ‘everything is free’. That made us laugh but the worry of day to day life was completely lifted from them and that was so important to our family. My father continues to be looked after at the highest level since my mum sadly passed away early last year. We have been unable to see him properly with the global pandemic taking hold. The management have worked tirelessly to keep our loved ones safe and secure, with regular staff testing, quickly setting up a secure visiting room and garden area for families, regular Skype visits and telephone updates. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.
Trish F (Daughter of Resident) – 8th January 2021
Our father has been a resident for over a year and is happy to now call it home, thanks to the wonderful care and attention of all the staff. Every single person, from day and night carers to kitchen staff and maintenance, has gone over and above all they could do to make him happy and well at all times and particularly during this time of crisis, when he has also been unwell. We and he are so very appreciative and for my sister and I, it gives us such peace of mind to know that he is being so well cared for and loved. Many, many thanks
Ann B (Daughter of Resident) – 5th October 2020
“My mother was one of the first residents to move into the home in November 2017. She (and I) have found every aspect of the home to be well managed, professional, caring and homely in all respects. The current Covid 19 crisis has reinforced my already high regard of the professional and caring approach of staff members at all levels. I am so pleased that my mother is in such a safe, friendly and comfortable environment to see out her twilight years.”
T Hubbard (Son of a Resident) – 14th May 2020
“My parents moved into Beverley Parklands in February 2019, and my Dad passed away in November. He was well looked after and entertained, and in his last days he was treated with care and respect and all his family appreciated the dignity he was shown. He could have been in his own Home - which he was!”
D Prill (Son of Residents) – 3rd January 2020
