Recent Activities at Beverley

We have had a very busy time recently at Beverley Parklands, with lots of visits, events and activities to keep everyone entertained!

Our residents have been enjoying their usual activities around the home, such as Cheese and Cracker afternoons, performances from local singers and visits from Pulse training, who do some different exercises with our residents to keep them active.

The other week we had an afternoon of baking, and residents and staff enjoyed eating the yummy tarts and buns made. We even took some of our gentlemen to a local over 60s club, which was a very social occasion.
2 Beverley churches, St Mary’s and the Congregational Church, visited our home to give some lovely services for our residents. This was very special as it was an opportunity for some of our residents, who cannot attend weekly services at church, to remain connected.

On Friday 6th September, we are running the first of our two trips to Hutton le Hole for afternoon tea, which we are very excited about and we continue to have a daily schedule of entertainment and activities, which we are very proud of!
