Staff, Residents and their families joined us to commemorate and remember all those who fought so hard to make our future a better place.
After our minutes silence we said a prayer and discussed the meaning of the poppy and its history and had several readings and poems from staff members, Including the very famous poem “In Flanders Fields.” The service was both moving and reflective.
We played 30’s and 40’s music and planted poppy seeds, drank Tea and had homemade cookies.
