VE Day Celebrations!

This years VE Day, which marks the day towards the end of World War Two when fighting came to an end in Europe, was a special one as it marked the 75th anniversary and our fantastic activity teams, across the group, still found a way for our residents to mark their respects and celebrate accordingly.

At Beverley Parklands a range of activities were held across the weekend to celebrate the occasion. These included Ashton a local 11yr-old playing his saxophone from the car park, a family choir serenading the residents from the garden, plus creating war time memory cards during one to one reminiscence sessions. Please see some lovely pictures below and a selection of our memory cards.
